Stampin’ Up! Celebration Labels Dies Floral Congratulations Card

This card features the Celebration Labels Dies and the Beautiful Friendship Photopolymer Stamp Set. I saw Dena Rekow at The Creativity Cave use this set with the Celebration Labels Dies and thought it went well together. Here’s my version. It is a Congratulations card for a young stamping couple I know who is getting married soon. Enjoy!

The Paper Cuts

  • Thick Whisper White Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
  • Whisper White Cardstock: second largest Celebration Labels Die
  • Seaside Spay Cardstock: two 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • Pear Pizzazz Cardstock: scraps for 2 Celebration Labels sprig dies and the sentiment banner.

The Creating

  • Use Seaside Spray ink to stamp the large floral image from Beautiful Friendship on the Celebration Labels die and the envelope flap.
  • Mask the floral image and use Pear Pizzazz ink to stamp the 3 leaf image in 1st Generation and the double leave image in 2nd Generation.
  • Use Crushed Curry ink to stamp the frond image in 2nd Generation.
  • Use Basic Gray ink to stamp the sentiments on the Pear Pizzazz scrap and one of the Seaside Spray panels. Stamp the small flower image and the double leaf image in 2nd Generation over the inside sentiment and adhere to the inside of the card.
  • Flag the ends of the sentiment strip with the Banner Triple Punch.
  • Emboss the remaining Seaside Spray panel with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere the stamped Celebration Label die to the center with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop these layers up on the card front.
  • Cut the two sprig dies from Pear Pizzazz cardstock and adhere them to the stamped image. Use dimensionals to pop on the sentiment banner.
  • Tap the Wink of Stella against a bone folder over the card for a sprinkle of sparkle.

Stampin’ Up! Bloom and Grow Congrats Catalog Case

This card features the Bloom & Grow photopolymer stamp set in the Stampin’ Up! 2020-21 Annual Catalog. I’ve wanted to CASE the card on page 116 since the catalog came out. The circle is easier to create than it looks because of the built in curve of the stamp. I did change up the tag a little. Enjoy!

The Paper Cuts

  • Petal Pink Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ & 3 1/2″ x 1″
  • Whisper White Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 4 1/4″ x 4″

The Creating

  • Using Gray Granite Ink, stamp the leaf and berry sprig in a circle, negating to ink the stem, on the Whisper White 4 1/2 x 4 panel. The photopolymer makes it easy to line up.
  • Color with Petal Pink and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends.
  • Dry fit the placement on the card front and using Petal Pink Ink stamp the rose spray on the card front peeking out on the top and bottom of the stamped panel. Adhere the panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • Stamp the sentiment in Gray Granite twice on scraps of Whisper White Cardstock. Fussy cut “Forever” from one with Paper Snips. Use a trimmer to cut out “Starts Today”.
  • Use the Triple Banner Punch to flag the ends of the Petal Pink strip. Apply liquid glue to the bottom of the “Forever” letters and adhere half on, half off the top. Adhere “Starts Today” near the bottom. Tie a knot in the Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon and apply with a Mini Glue Dot. Pop the tag on with Dimensionals and add Wink of Stella to the “Forever” letters.
  • Using Petal Pink Ink, stamp the rose spray on the bottom of the remaining Whisper White panel and on the envelope flap. Add Congratulation to the panel. Add Wink of Stella to the spray.

Stampin’ Up! Bloom & Grow Congrats

One of the nice things about stamping is that as your collections grows so do your options. Sometimes we forget we can mix and match, but Stampin’ Up! makes it easy with colors and images that coordinate. Here I used the Bloom & Grow Stamp Set with the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper and the Peaceful Moments sentiments. The star of the show is the DSP. I picked it first, and it chose the stamp and the colors. Enjoy!

The Cutting

  • Whisper White Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ and a Stitched So Sweetly Die (largest scallop rectangle)
  • Best Dressed DSP: 5 1/4″ x 4 and 3 – 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ strips

The Creating

  • Stamp the floral image from Bloom & Grow in Tuxedo Black on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. Add the sentiment above it. Cut out with the Stitched So Sweetly die.
  • Use Stampin’ Blends to color the image: Dark Petal Pink, Light Pumpkin Pie, Light & Dark Old Olive, Dark Daffodil Delight, Dark Mint Macaroon, and Dark Highland Heather.
  • Apply the DSP to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. Pop up the rectangle die with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Add Wink of Stella to the flower centers.
  • Stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black on the inside. Add a stip of DSP at the top and bottom with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. (I wanted to add a little extra design since the inside is a flat layer).
  • Add a strip with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to the bottom edge of the envelope. I recommend you not substitute the adhesive because it needs to be strong enough to withstand the postal machines. Make sure to get close to the edges to seal them well.
