Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Birthday Card

I used the Celebrate Sunflowers Cling Stamp Set from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog to make this birthday card. I hope you enjoy!

The Paper Cuts

  • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″ (card base)
  • Basic White Cardstock: two 3-3/4″ x 5″ (embossing & inside), 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ (stamping)
  • Soft Suede Cardstock: 3″ x 3″

The Creating

I began by stamping the sentiments from the Celebrate Sunflowers Cling Stamp Set in Early Expresso Ink on the two 3-3/4″ x 5″ panels. I stamped the sunflower image in Bumblebee Ink on the lower left corner of the inside panel and the Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the sunflower image on the 2-7/8″ square panel and colored it with Stampin’ Blends: Light and Dark Daffodil Delight, Light and Dark Mango Melody, Light and Dark Soft Suede, Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie and Bronze.

I placed the front panel with he stamped greeting into the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with Plate 1 and Plate 4 sandwich.

To assemble, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the panels to the card front and inside of the card and the colored sunflower to the Soft Suede square. I popped on the Soft Suede sunflower square with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Bumblebee Trinket to the sunflower center with a Mini Glue Dot.

Stampin’ Up! Sparkle of the Season Fall Foliage Miss You Card

I used the Sparkle of the Season Bundle (Sparkle of the Season Photopolymer Stamp Set + Seasonal Swirls Dies) from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog and the Beauty of Friendship Bundle (Beauty of Friendship Photopolymer Stamp Set + Beautiful Trees Dies) from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog to make this Fall foliage card. I love trees in any season and I love the colors of Fall. As a Southerner my Falls were brief…going quickly to dry brown, but I moved to the Northeast in my 20s and Oh!My! a whole month of beautiful color! I even tried to send preserved Fall leaves home to my parents to share the beauty. I hope you enjoy the card I’m sharing with you tonight!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Soft Suede Cardstock: 4-1/4″x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″ (card base) and a tree trunk die cut from Beautiful Trees Dies.
    • Pumpkin Pie Cardstock: 3-1/2″ x 4-7/8″ (front layer) and 10 leaf die cuts (there are 2 leaves per die cut) from Seasonal Swirls Dies.
    • Calypso Coral Cardstock: 10 leaf die cuts (there are 2 leaves per die cut) from Seasonal Swirls Dies.
    • Bumblebee Cardstock: 10 leaf die cuts (there are 2 leaves per die cut) from Seasonal Swirls Dies.
    • Basic White Cardstock: 2nd largest Stitched Rectangle Dies diecut, Tasteful Labels die cut, and 3-3/4″ x 5″ (inside panel)

    The Creating

I began by stamping the triple leaf image from the Sparkle of the Season Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pumpkin Pie, Calypso Coral and Bumblebee Inks onto the Stitched Rectangle die cut to fill in the tree top and the ground cover. I occasionally placed the tree die cut on the rectangle to gage placement. I repeated the leaves on the bottom edge of the envelope and inside panel. I then used a Blending Brush to apply Bumblebee and Pumpkin Pie Ink to these areas.

In Soft Suede Ink, I stamped the tree base from Beauty of Friendship Photopolymer Stamp Set (on the Stitched Rectangle) and the sentiment from the Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set (onto the Tasteful Labels die cut).

To assemble, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the panels and leaves. I popped up the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thank you for stopping by. If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Pretty Pumpkins “Giving Thanks” Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop for October! Today we are sharing “Giving Thanks” projects. At the bottom of my post you will find links to hop along the way to my teammate’s projects. Be sure to visit them all to see how each interpreted the theme. I hope you like what I made for you!

I used the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle (Pretty Pumpkins Cling Stamp Set + Detailed Pumpkins Dies) from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog (page 48) to make this “Giving Thanks” card.  The fonts in this set are so pretty and the dies are incredible! Enjoy the card…

    The Paper Cuts

    • Pumpkin Pie Cardstock: 11″ x 4-1/4″, scored at 5-1/2″ (card base)
    • Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper: largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies
    • Brushed Metallic Cardstock: 2nd largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies
    • Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/4″ x 4″ (inside panel), the 3rd largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies and 3″ x 3″ (stamping/die cutting)
    • Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 1 of each of the pumpkin leaves dies from Detailed Pumpkin Dies
    • Cork Specialty Paper: 4″ x 3/4″

    The Creating

I began by stamping the pumpkin trio and the smaller blossom image onto the 3″ x 3″ Basic White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image with Light and Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends, Light Mango Melody Stampin’ Blend, Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends, Light Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend, and Light and Dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends. I then die cut the images with the coordinating dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

I stamped the pumpkin trio image with Pumpkin Pie Ink on the lower left corner of the Basic White inside panel and the Basic White Medium Envelope. I added a little Wink of Stella to the leaves for some sparkle! I also stamped the “so thankful for you” sentiment on the top right corner of the Basic White Stitched Rectangle die cut in Early Expresso Ink.

With Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I adhered the DSP panel, the bronze Brushed Metallic Cardstock panel, the Basic White Stitched Rectangle and the Cork strip to the card front. I popped up the pumpkin trio die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the blossom image with liquid glue where it touches the pumpkins and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals where it touches the cork. The die cut leaves and the inside panel are adhered with liquid glue.

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Place Quick & Easy Multiple Christmas Cards

Are you looking for a quick and easy Christmas card that you can easily create multiples of? Then you might enjoy tonight’s cards. The design is the brain child of Connie Stewart of Simply Simple Stamping and I love it so much I wanted to share it with you! The star of the show is the Peaceful Place 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper, complimented by sentiment from Christmas to Remember Cling Stamp Set. Both are from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog. This paper pack contains several sheets of DSP (3 different designs, 6 sheets) that are meant to create multiple cards. There are 2 of the particular printed design used in tonight’s cards which would make 12 cards total (add 24 more if you use the other 2 designs)!

I’ve used various colored backgrounds and embellishments, but you could streamline to one (you’re favorite) color and embellishment to speed things along and minimize cost. The Stamparatus is also useful when producing multiples, but not necessary. I’ve listed the various products that I used below, but not all of them are needed to make this card.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Peaceful Place 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper: cut 1-1/4″ off the all white side with the Paper Trimmer and then cut into 4″ wide strips. Cut the remaining DSP with the trees in half at 4-3/4″ and then into 4″ panels.
    • Cardstock Card Bases (Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Basic White Thick, Gray Granite): Six 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″ OR 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ (3 sheets of 8-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock)
    • Basic White Cardstock: Six 4″ x 5-1/4″ panels (inside)
Neutrals: Gray Granite/Basic Rhinestones and Basic White Thick/silver Metallic Pearls

    The Creating

First, tear one long edge of the 4″ x 1-1/4″ strips for the snowscape.

Next, stamp the sentiments on the snow panel or the tree panel. I did some of both because I couldn’t decide between the two!

Traditional: Cherry Cobbler Cardstock with Holiday Basic Rhinestones

Stamp the inside sentiment of your choice on the Basic White panels ink color that coordinates with the card base.

To assemble, adhere the tree panel to the front of the card base aligning the top edge equally with the sides. Adhere the snowscape strip to the bottom edge leaving the same spacing as the sides. Apply embellishment of choice (the Take Your Pick Tool putty tip makes this quick & easy). Adhere the stamped Basic White panels to the inside of the card base.

Traditional: Evening Evergreen Cardstock with 2021-23 In Color Jewels

Thank you for stopping by. If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Pretty Pumpkins Fall Friendship Card

I have been having a great time playing with the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle (Pretty Pumpkins Cling Stamp Set + Detailed Pumpkins Dies) from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog (page 48). It is so pretty and easy to create great projects with. I hope you enjoy tonight’s card!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Very Vanilla Cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″ (card base), two 4″ x 5 1/4″ panels and a 3-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies.
    • Cajun Craze Cardstock: filigree pumpkin die cut from Detailed Pumpkin Dies
    • 2021-23 In Color Shimmer Vellum (Pale Papaya): 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
    • Cork 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper: 3-3/4″ x 1 3/4″ die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies.
    • Gold Foil 12″ x 12″ Sheets: one of each pumpkin leaf die cuts from Detailed Pumpkin Dies and a leaf die cut from Intricate Leaves Dies.

    The Creating

I began by running one of the Very Vanilla panels through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder with the No. 1 and No. 4 plate sandwich. I repeated with the flap of the Very Vanilla Medium Envelope.

Next, I stamped the pumpkin with the leaf print on the Pale Papaya Shimmer Vellum. I inked the stamp with Bumblebee Ink and then used Sponge Daubers (one for each color) to apply ink on the leaves inside with Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Early Expresso Inks. I dried the ink with the Heat Tool on the low setting. I repeated the pumpkin on the lower right corner of the Very Vanilla inside panel and added the “so thankful for you” sentiment with Pumpkin Pie Ink.

I stamped the “If friends were pumpkins I’d pick you” sentiment with VersaMark Ink on the Very Vanilla Stitched Rectangle die cut, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and melted it with the Heat Tool on the high setting.

To assemble I added the embossed panel to the card front and the inside panel to the inside of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I applied a 5″ piece of the 3/8″ Fine Art Ribbon across the center of the Cork die cut with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I topped it with the Very Vanilla sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I trimmed the ends of the ribbon with my Paper Snips. Next, I applied the gold leaf die cut, then the filigree pumpkin, the stamped shimmer pumpkin, and then the gold pumpkin leaves. I used the Take Your Pick Tool to pick up and apply three Gold Brushed Metallic Adhesive-backed Dots to embellish.

Thank you for stopping by. If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden Birthday Card for the Sunday Stamps Color Challenge

Even though it is technically Autumn, it is the Dog Days of Summer here in Alabama where the nights are cool, but the days are still warm with dragonflies still fluttering around the gardens and ponds. I hope you enjoy this colorful Happy Birthday card that uses the Parisian Flourishes Embossing Folder and the Dragonfly Garden Bundle (Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set + Dragonflies Punch).

The inspiration for the colors comes from the Sunday Stamps Weekly Challenge SSC267 AUTUMN BOLDNESS. The requirement are to use of a minimum of 3 colors from the graphic below, plus a neutral of choice.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Thick Basic White Cardstock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ (card base)
    • Basic White Cardstock: 3 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ (embossed panel), 4″ x 5-1/2″ (inside panel) and 3-1/4″ x 1″ (sentiment)
    • Bermuda Bay Cardstock: 4-1/8″ x 5-1/2″ (front panel)
    • Vellum Cardstock: 7-1/2″ x 2″ (Dragonfly punches)

    The Creating

I began by stamping three dragonflies in Tuxedo Black Ink on Vellum Cardstock. I colored these with Stampin’ Blends: Light Mango Melody, Dark Pumpkin Pie and Light Bermuda Bay. I applied Wink of Stella to the wings and punched the dragonflies out with coordinating punch. I used my Bone Folder to add a wave to the wings.

Next, I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment in Tuxedo Black on Basic White Cardstock and fussy cut it with my Paper Snips. I also stamped the sentiment on the inside panel along with the dragonfly. I added the dragonfly to the corner of the envelope. I colored the dragonflies with the Light Bermuda Stampin’ Blend and added Wink of Stella.

I ran the 3 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ Basic White panel through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder with the No. 1 and No. 4 plates. I placed two pieces of the White 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon across the center fo the panel and adhered them to the back with Mini Glue Dots. I adhered the embossed panel to the Bermuda Bay panel and both to the card base and then the inside panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I wrapped ribbon 3x around 4 fingers and tied it in the middle with a small piece of the ribbon. I popped the fussy cut sentiment on with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and added the bow to the left with a Mini Glue Dot. The dragonflies were added with a Mini Glue Dot and then topped with a yellow 2021-23 In Color Jewel, an orange Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewel and a teal Artistry in Bloom Adhesive-Backed Sequin on the matching dragonfly.
